So I am back... again... AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am still a bit jet lagged (came back on the 3rd... 'ish....), I was fine yesterday and then it hit today but I am trying to get back into it. There is far to much to talk about in detail but along the way I made of list of things I learned (and might answer a few questions of others) about Tokyo...

* First and foremost... Everything is better in Japan
* Do NOT underestimate the power of Hello Kitty... she is EVERYWHERE!... and I mean everywhere
* Just because an anime is Very popular here does NOT mean it is there... cause apparently barely anything is sold of Naruto (even though it is still running strong )
* We soooooo need to import ticket vending fast food!
* Pokemon still lives... and is stronger then ever... in a very very very creepy way (though it did get me to bust out my old Game Boy color for Gold/Silver )
* Though porn is not everywhere like a lot may think... it is all over Akihabara (geek district of Tokyo)... and if you have a thing you can find it (though note: you can find dirty manga in any convenience store)
* There are grocery stores in the basements of department stores... nuf said...
* If you are a crazy kitty person, Tokyo is your one stop shop! They have kitty EVERYTHING (and it is Awesome!). Kitties are also on the streets, but all but one I saw were fairly fat and fluffy
* Harajuku makes me want to go punk again and cosplay!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tis not fair
* The Yen system rocks...
* There Game Shows and Commercials totally p0wn ours, though our day time TV is a LOT better (ok, so maybe not everything is better in Japan, but it is close)
* Everyone is REALLY NICE! I met so many cool people and I miss them already...
* They love stairs... and there isn't really any alternative... you will have calves of steal if you every go, but is good way to get in shape
* I miss nice pretty girls with white gloves welcoming me to places, ringing me up, and thanking me while even seeming to be sincere (I would like to think they are, but everyone has those "awww hell" days... but it was so nice)
* There is a common decency that I can't describe... but it is beautiful and is a good lesson to a lot of us
* 7 Elevens and Am-Pm's are all over, though non sell gas. They are only convenience stores, and they ARE both convenient AND realistically priced (you may pay like 20 cents more there then a grocery store... MAYBE)
* Other things that invaded: McDonald's (is there anywhere that they are not?), KFC, Subway, Mister Donut, and Denny's (though you won't find any Grand Slams, and almost every Breakfast comes with a salad with French Dressing...)
* and last, if you have artist block... YOU WON'T AFTER TOKYO!!!!!!!!!! I am so inspired it is CRAZY!... I only have one problem... _time

so... hi....

yeah... I have been... well gone...

so much has happened, I don't really think I can cover it all without boring you to tears with a super long journal... but to sum it up:
*Got Second Job
*Helped Girl who OD'ed trying to commit suicided
*went to funeral for husband's aunt
*Sister had B-day
*Brother-in-law had B-Day
*Lent made me go crazy... really
*Got sick with flu for over a week
*cousin lost unborn twins
*went to my aunt's wedding
*had my one year anniversary
*taught class on C.S. Lewis's Prince Caspian
*wrapping up class on C.S. Lewis's Voyage of the Dawn Treader
*Expanded "church job"
*quite second job at Walgreens
*Freaking out over money
*and now planning Tokyo
Not truly in time order... but most of it is a blur

I am going to try to be back more... as much as I can...

I had to get a second job for about 5 months that took over most of my life... in that time I had 3 days off that I wasn't working one of the two jobs and that I wasn't sick... yeah, life sucked for a bit...
I did VERY little art, but I am going to try to get up what I did (which was usually on my 30 minute lunch brake in the back room)

But I am going to Tokyo in like 11 days so that will be cool... I am kinda nervous though if we have enough money... we will see...

I am also planning my church's Vacation Bible School, if you are in the area or know anyone who is check out the online registration that! [link] Yeah, I made the image more on that later when I put up the pic

ummm... yeah.... that is about my life right now... hopefully more soon

To those in the club... sorry it had to be put on hold as well... I didn't even have time to check into it to set up a substitute... I am planning on it getting back up in June, latest July... sorry again
